Play Congos Caper Online

You're this little guy Congo, ricocheting through jungles while chucking fruit at everything—mushrooms, floating masks, even pissed-off totem poles. It's like a sugar-rush cartoon with SNES-era jank and charm.

Game Overview

Congos Caper is one of those weird, wonderful SNES games that slipped under the radar—which is a shame, because it’s a blast. You play as this tiny, hyperactive creature named Congo, bouncing through jungles and ruins while hurling fruit at anything that moves. And I mean anything: walking mushrooms, floating masks, even grumpy totem poles. The whole thing feels like someone took a Saturday morning cartoon and cranked the chaos up to 11.

The controls are simple—run, jump, throw—but the levels get surprisingly tricky, with hidden paths and sudden enemy swarms. I died a lot to those bouncing coconuts at first. The art’s bright and chunky in that perfect ‘90s way, and the music sticks in your head way longer than it should. It’s not as polished as Mario, but that’s part of the charm—it’s got personality to spare.

If you like platformers with a side of weirdness (think Earthworm Jim but with more fruit projectiles), this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the jungle theme for days.
