Game Overview

Oh man, Santa's Xmas Caper takes me back—that crunchy MIDI soundtrack still gets stuck in my head every December. You're basically Santa on damage control, weaving through these tiny maze-like levels while these grinchy little thieves keep swiping presents right out of your sack. The controls are janky in that perfect DOS way where you sometimes overshoot a turn and eat a snowbank.

What I love is how unapologetically silly it is. One minute you're dodging rogue candy canes, the next you're getting chased by what looks like a very angry snowman with legs. The whole thing plays out in these bright, chunky pixels that somehow make a bunch of squares feel festive. It's the kind of game where you'll fail spectacularly three times before realizing there's a sneaky shortcut behind the Christmas tree.

Perfect for when you want that hit of nostalgia without committing to anything longer than a coffee break. Just don't blame me when you start humming the soundtrack while wrapping actual presents.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
