Xmas Carnage came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection from Digital X-Press. It was a time when shareware titles often embraced bizarre themes, and this one fit right in with its over-the-top holiday horror premise. You don't see many games willing to turn Christmas into a bloodbath, but this one went for it without hesitation.

You control a lone survivor armed with a machine gun, fighting through screen after screen of demented holiday enemies. Your goal is to clear each area of threats like homicidal elves and explosive presents, moving from one fixed screen to the next. The action is fast and unforgiving; enemies swarm from all sides, and your ammo isn't infinite. It feels chaotic and absurd, a strange mix of tension and dark comedy that keeps you hitting the spacebar for just one more try.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
