Game Overview

Carnage came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Zeppelin Games. It was a straightforward arcade-style car combat game for its time, fitting right in with the era's appetite for simple, fast-paced action on home computers.

You control a small vehicle from a top-down perspective, driving through maze-like arenas to destroy enemy cars and breakable walls. The main goal is to survive each stage by eliminating all opponents while avoiding hazards and managing limited fuel. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups for better weapons and armor, navigating tight corridors that force close-quarters combat, and dealing with increasingly aggressive enemy AI. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding sharp reflexes and constant movement. It feels like a chaotic, satisfying scramble where every victory is earned through frantic driving and well-timed attacks.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
