Play Total Carnage on Msdos Online
Dodge bullets while blasting waves of enemies with weirdly satisfying weapons—like bouncing rockets and blue flamethrowers that roast half the screen. That rapid-fire respawn gun makes dying almost worth it.

Total Carnage came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, published by Midway Games. It was a time when top-down shooters were common, and this one fit right in with its straightforward, no-frills approach to arcade-style action. You didn't need a complicated backstory; it was just you against an overwhelming number of enemies.
You control a lone soldier dropped into hostile territory, tasked with surviving screen after screen of relentless foes. Your main goal is to clear each area of enemies while avoiding their fire, using an arsenal that includes bouncing rockets and a rapid-fire flamethrower that can wipe out clusters in seconds. The pacing is frantic, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty is unforgiving; one wrong move often means instant death. It feels chaotic and demanding, but landing a perfect rocket shot into a crowded corner makes the struggle worthwhile.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
