Game Overview

Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup from Apogee Software. It was one of those early side-scrolling platformers that felt right at home on a PC, back when shareware titles offered a surprising amount of content and charm without the polish of big studio releases.

You control Cosmo, a small green alien who can jump and stick to walls, then push off to climb higher. Your goal is to rescue your family by exploring a series of themed planets, screen by screen, collecting keys to unlock doors and avoid environmental hazards. The game introduces vehicles like a hovercraft and teleporters, adding variety to the straightforward platforming. The pacing is brisk, but some screens demand precise timing and careful observation. It feels like a clever, slightly unpredictable adventure where every new area holds a small surprise.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
