Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup from Apogee Software. It was one of those early side-scrolling platformers that felt right at home on a PC, back when shareware titles offered a surprising amount of content and charm without the polish of big studio releases.

You control Cosmo, a small green alien who can jump and stick to walls, then push off to climb higher. Your goal is to rescue your family by exploring a series of themed planets, screen by screen, collecting keys to unlock doors and avoid environmental hazards. The game introduces vehicles like a hovercraft and teleporters, adding variety to the straightforward platforming. The pacing is brisk, but some screens demand precise timing and careful observation. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
