Ever wanted to pull off those gravity-defying wuxia moves from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? This GBA game actually lets you do it—sort of. You switch between Li Mu Bai and Yu Shu Lien, slashing through bandits with swords, spears, and the occasional ridiculous mid-air flip. The controls take a minute to get used to (why does blocking feel so awkward?), but once you nail the combos, chaining together attacks feels pretty satisfying.

Don’t expect the movie’s poetic drama, though. It’s mostly just hopping between rooftops and mashing buttons until enemies stop moving. Still, for a portable martial arts fix, it’s not bad. Just keep your expectations in check.
