You control a rider on one of several bike classes, each with distinct handling and speed. The main goal is straightforward: win races across a variety of international circuits. The game uses a split-screen mode for two-player competition, which made for some intense couch rivalries. Weather conditions change dynamically during races, forcing you to adapt your riding style and braking points. The difficulty is unforgiving; one mistake can send you skidding off the track.
