Game Overview

Déjà Vu II: Lost in Las Vegas came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, published by Mindscape. It was a time when point-and-click adventures were really finding their footing on PC, and this one dropped you right into a gritty, neon-soaked version of Las Vegas with a problem you could almost feel in your gut.

You play as a private investigator with amnesia, waking up broke and in debt to the mob. The goal is to piece together what happened and clear your name, mostly by talking to characters, picking up items, and solving environmental puzzles. Signature mechanics include a verb-based interaction system (look, take, use, talk) and an inventory full of objects that often require creative combining. The pacing is deliberate; you move screen by screen, examining everything closely, and the difficulty comes from the sheer number of red herrings and obscure logic leaps. It feels like digging through a stranger’s life while constantly looking over your shoulder.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
