Pick a bike, hit the ramps, and try not to eat dirt while pulling off ridiculous mid-air spins—the wipeouts are half the fun.
Game Overview
Dave Mirra BMX Challenge on PSP is one of those games that makes you feel like you're actually pulling off insane bike tricks—even if you're just mashing buttons on your couch. You start off picking from a bunch of bikes (I always went for the lighter ones—easier to flip) and then it's straight into ramps, half-pipes, and dirt tracks. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out the timing for spins and grinds, it's stupidly satisfying.
There’s a surprising amount of variety here—some levels are pure racing, others are all about racking up trick combos, and a few just let you mess around in open areas. The split-screen multiplayer is where it really shines, though. Nothing like wiping out mid-air while your friend laughs at you. And yeah, you can customize your rider, but let’s be honest, you’re mostly here to see how long you can stay upside down before faceplanting.
It’s not the most polished BMX game ever, but it’s got that early 2000s charm where everything feels just chaotic enough to be fun. If you’ve got a PSP gathering dust, this one’s worth a ride.
