Download Dave Mirra BMX Challenge ROM – Sony PSP Game
Game Overview
Dave Mirra BMX Challenge came out for the PSP in 2006, developed by Left Field Productions and published by Crave Entertainment. It was one of those games you'd see people playing on the bus or between classes, a solid portable entry in the BMX genre during the PSP's early years. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just gave you a bike and some ramps right there in your pocket.
You control a BMX rider, performing tricks across various urban and skatepark-style courses. The main goal is to chain together combos, beat high scores, and complete event challenges like high score runs or best trick competitions. Key mechanics include using the face buttons for different grab and flip tricks, timing your landings to maintain speed, and building up a special meter for even bigger moves. The pacing is fairly quick; you're always moving, setting up for the next jump. It feels responsive and immediate, especially when you nail a long combo and stick the landing perfectly.
