Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition is what happens when Sega takes an already great arcade racer and cranks it up to 11. The original Saturn version was impressive, but this one? Smoother framerate, sharper tracks, and way more cars—some hidden if you dig around. The AI actually puts up a fight now, and thank god they ditched the cheesy lyrics in the race music.

First thing you’ll notice: the graphics got a serious glow-up. Higher poly counts, better textures, and everything just moves like butter compared to the first game. Two-player mode feels less like an afterthought, and the physics tweaks make drifting around corners way more satisfying. If you’ve got a Saturn, this is the version of Daytona you want.
