Demons Forge was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection released by Bethesda Softworks in 2011, a reissue that brought a number of older titles back into circulation for modern players. You control a lone adventurer delving into monster-infested ruins, armed with a sword and a limited supply of arrows. Your goal is to survive each floor, find the exit, and gradually uncover what lurks deeper in the dungeon. The game uses screen-by-screen exploration, real-time combat that demands quick reflexes, and resource management for things like health and light sources. It moves at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty is unforgiving; one mistake can mean starting the level over. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
