Demons to Diamonds is one of those weirdly addictive Atari 2600 games where you’re basically playing laser tag with color-coded monsters. You control this little zapper that slides left and right at the top or bottom of the screen, blasting away at demons wandering in the middle. Here’s the catch: if you hit a demon that matches your zapper’s color, it turns into a diamond—shoot that fast for bonus points. But if you zap the wrong color? Instant regret. The demon turns into a skull that starts firing back at you like it’s got a personal vendetta.

You start with five lives, and things get chaotic fast when skulls start filling the screen. The two-player mode is where it really shines—nothing like competing to see who can cause the other more accidental skull-related disasters. There are a few difficulty settings, but honestly, even the "easy" mode gets intense after a couple minutes. It’s simple, but the risk-reward of going for diamonds keeps you on your toes.
