Dora and Friends Fantastic Flight came out on the Nintendo DS in 2014, a Nickelodeon title that fit right in with the handheld's library of kid friendly adventures. You control Dora as she flies a hot air balloon, tapping and dragging on the touch screen to navigate through levels and interact with objects. Signature mechanics include using the stylus to pop bubbles blocking your path and tilting the system to steer the balloon through windy sections. The pacing is relaxed, with a very gentle difficulty curve that makes it accessible for younger players. It feels like a calm, interactive storybook where your actions directly help the characters.
