Game Overview

Dr. Mario 64 is basically Tetris with a lab coat—Mario’s side gig as a pill-flinging virus destroyer. You stack colored capsules to match and wipe out the little buggers crawling up the screen, but the real magic here is the four-player mode. Nothing like watching your friends panic as their side of the screen fills up faster than they can clear it.

It’s simple at first, but those viruses get sneaky fast, and suddenly you’re sweating over whether to drop that red pill now or wait for a better combo. The N64 version keeps the same satisfying "pop" when you clear a row, which never gets old. Mario’s medical license might be questionable, but the gameplay holds up.
