Play Dragon Ball Z - Taiketsu (U)(Rising Sun) Online

Pick your DBZ fighter and mash out fireballs and beam clashes—it’s got that classic GBA button-mashing charm, but you’ll burn through the shallow roster quick. Best with a buddy who doesn’t mind the occasional whiffed punch.

Game Overview

Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu is one of those GBA fighters that’s fun in short bursts but doesn’t hold up for long. You’ve got 15 characters—Goku, Vegeta, Broly, the usual suspects—and they all throw down with flashy super moves and screen-filling ultimates. The combos feel satisfying at first, especially when you land a full Kamehameha, but the movesets get repetitive fast.

It’s strictly a fighting game, no story mode or RPG elements like some other DBZ titles. The AI isn’t exactly brilliant either—you’ll figure out the patterns after a few matches. Linking up with a friend for versus battles is where it shines, assuming you both don’t mind the janky hit detection.

If you’re desperate for portable DBZ action, it’ll kill an afternoon. Just don’t expect Budokai levels of depth here.
