Dragon Crystal is one of those old-school dungeon crawlers where you never quite know what you're stepping into—literally. The second you start, you're dumped into a maze of twisting corridors, with only tiny bits of the map revealing themselves as you stumble forward. No hand-holding, no story—just you, some creepy monsters lurking in the dark, and an egg that follows you around like a weird pet.

Combat's simple but tense—you bump into enemies to attack, but every fight feels risky when you're low on food or your sword's about to break. And yeah, you can starve to death, which I learned the hard way. The dragon egg gimmick is cool though—if you survive long enough, it hatches into a fire-breathing sidekick that actually makes fights less terrifying.

It's got that classic "just one more floor" pull, even when the random item drops screw you over (why did I drink that unidentified potion?). The teleporter to the next level always feels like a tiny victory—until you realize the next floor's even worse. If you like your dungeon crawlers punishing but weirdly addictive, this one's a gem.
