Dragon Fighter is one of those Amiga shooters that looks simple at first—you're just riding a dragon and blasting stuff—but the gravity physics make it way trickier than expected. Between levels, you land in these little towns where you can buy weapon upgrades or extra health—if you've got the cash. Problem is, you also need to save up for travel expenses to the next town, so every coin counts. I wasted half my money on dice games in the tavern once, which... didn't end well. The levels get brutal fast, but nailing that perfect run where you barely scrape by is weirdly satisfying.
