Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story came out on the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Virgin Interactive. It was part of that wave of movie tie-in games from the era, trying to capture the energy of its subject on the 16-bit hardware. You control Bruce Lee through a series of side-scrolling stages, fighting off groups of attackers with punches, kicks, and his signature nunchaku. The main goal is to progress through each level, defeating all the enemies that appear, before facing a boss at the end. The game uses a combo system where stringing moves together builds your power, and there are occasional training segments that break up the action. It can feel a bit repetitive and the difficulty spikes are noticeable, but landing a long combo and hearing that satisfying sound effect makes it worthwhile. It feels like a straightforward brawler that tries to honor its inspiration through action rather than depth.
