Game Overview

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story on Sega Genesis is one of those games that makes you feel like a martial arts legend—until you get punched in the face by some random thug. You play as Bruce Lee, kicking, flipping, and chopping your way through waves of enemies, just like in the '93 movie (though don’t expect a scene-for-scene remake).

The controls are surprisingly fluid for a 16-bit fighter—you can pull off flying kicks, throws, and even build up your Chi meter to unleash special moves. Some enemies are total pushovers, while others will absolutely wreck you if you button-mash. And yeah, the soundtrack slaps harder than Bruce’s one-inch punch.

It’s not perfect—some hit detection feels a little off, and the platforming bits can be janky—but there’s something satisfying about clearing a room with nothing but spinning kicks. If you grew up on cheesy martial arts flicks, this one’s a nostalgia trip worth taking.
