Egg Hunt came out in 1992 as an arcade game from Arcade Innovators, a developer that put out a handful of titles during the early 90s arcade scene. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its straightforward premise and colorful, blocky visuals.

You control a small, round character whose only goal is to collect every egg on the screen while avoiding enemies like bats and hopping snails. The game progresses screen by screen; you clear one area of eggs, then move to the next. The main mechanics are your jump, which has a very specific, floaty arc, and the ability to temporarily stun enemies by landing on them, though it doesn't kill them.
