Electric Crayon 3.0 - Inspector Gadget: Safety Patrol is one of those weirdly specific MS-DOS games that somehow nails the cartoon’s vibe perfectly. You play as Gadget stumbling through safety-themed missions—putting out fires, stopping traffic disasters, that sort of thing—while his extendable arms flail everywhere. The pixel art’s charmingly janky, and yeah, Penny and Brain show up to bail you out when Gadget inevitably screws up.

It’s simple point-and-click stuff, but there’s something oddly satisfying about clicking on hazards while Gadget mutters his confused catchphrases. The whole thing feels like playing a lost episode of the show, complete with that earworm theme song looping in your brain afterward. Definitely more fun than it has any right to be.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
