Game Overview

Electric Crayon Deluxe - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - World Tour 1990 was released by Konami for MS-DOS in 1990, a time when side-scrolling beat 'em ups were common but not always polished on home computers. It arrived as part of a wave of licensed games trying to capture the energy of the arcade hits, though it often felt rougher around the edges on the PC.

You control one of the four Turtles, moving screen by screen through levels inspired by global locations, punching and kicking through waves of Foot Soldiers and other enemies. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage, defeating bosses like Bebop and Rocksteady along the way. Signature mechanics include using each Turtle's unique weapon (like Leonardo's swords or Donatello's bo staff) and navigating occasional platforming sections that demand careful jumps. The pacing is fast, though the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to stiff controls and enemy swarms. It feels chaotic and a little unforgiving, but there's a raw charm in its colorful, noisy action.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
