Play Estpolis - The Lands Cursed by the Gods (J) Online

You wander a broken world where gods left their mess, moving your party on a grid to fight smart battles and solve puzzles that tease your brain just right. The pixel art’s got that warm SNES vibe but sharper, like finding an old book with surprisingly fresh pages.

Game Overview

Estpolis on the DS is one of those RPGs that flew under the radar but absolutely shouldn’t have. You start off in this moody, cursed world where the gods clearly had a bad day—everything’s falling apart, and of course, it’s up to you to fix it. The battles feel tactical without being overwhelming, and there’s something satisfying about the way your party moves on the grid during fights. Also, the puzzles? Just tricky enough to make you pause and think, but not so hard you’ll rage-quit.

What really stuck with me was the atmosphere—the sprites have that classic SNES-era charm, but the DS adds just enough detail to make everything pop. If you’re into RPGs with a bit of strategy and a lot of personality, this one’s a hidden gem worth digging up.
