Play Final Fight Online

Punch your way through Metro City as Haggar or Cody—fewer enemies on screen than the arcade, but still satisfying to toss punks into barrels. Weird they cut Guy and renamed bosses though.

Game Overview

Final Fight came to the Super Nintendo in 1990, a Capcom beat 'em up that felt like a big deal at the time. It was one of those early SNES titles that showed off what the console could do, bringing a slice of the arcade experience home, even if it wasn't a perfect copy.

You control either Cody, the street brawler, or Haggar, the mayor who fights with pipes and his wrestling background. Your goal is to fight through waves of thugs, screen by screen, to rescue Jessica from the Mad Gear gang. The core mechanics are simple: you punch, jump-kick, and perform grappling moves to throw enemies into the background or at each other. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can spike sharply, especially when you're swarmed. It feels raw and immediate, a test of reflexes and pattern recognition more than anything else.
