Game Overview

Final Fight 2 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed and published by Capcom. It was part of that era when side-scrolling beat 'em ups were everywhere, and this one built directly on the success of the original, offering another round of urban brawling without reinventing the wheel.

You control one of three characters: Haggar, Maki, or Carlos, each with their own fighting style. The goal is to fight through waves of enemies, screen by screen, to rescue Haggar's kidnapped daughter. You punch, kick, and use special moves like Haggar's piledriver or Carlos's sword attacks; you can also grab enemies and throw them into others. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike with certain enemy types crowding the screen. It feels straightforward and satisfying when your combos connect and you clear a path through the chaos.
