Game Overview

Ford Simulator 6.0 came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Ford Motor Company. It was a straightforward driving simulator from a time when 3D graphics were still blocky and physics were more suggestion than simulation. You got a selection of Ford vehicles to take for a spin, with no story or career mode to speak of; it was just you, the car, and the road.

You control one of several Ford models, from sedans to trucks, and drive them on a variety of preset courses. The main goal is simply to complete each route without crashing or running out of time. The game uses a behind-the-car perspective, with handling that feels heavy and deliberate; you have to plan turns well in advance and manage speed carefully on straightaways. Collisions are punishing, often spinning your car out or bringing you to a complete stop. It moves at a deliberate pace, demanding patience rather than reflexes, and the challenge comes from learning each car’s quirks and the layout of the roads. Driving in Ford Simulator 6.0 feels like wrestling with a heavy, responsive machine rather than gliding through a world built for speed.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
