Ganbare Goemon on the Game Boy is this weird little action-platformer where you play as a blue-haired ninja who fights with a pipe and throws coins like shurikens. It's got that classic Konami charm—bright colors, silly enemies, and levels that feel just right for quick play sessions. I love how Ebisumaru waddles when he runs, and the way some stages suddenly turn into these weird mini-games where you're racing or dodging obstacles.

The controls take a minute to get used to—jumping feels a little floaty at first—but once it clicks, you'll be bouncing off enemies' heads and uncovering hidden shortcuts. Some of the later levels get surprisingly tough, especially when those umbrella-wielding jerks show up.
