Game Overview

So, Garfield on the NES—yeah, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a game about the world’s laziest cat. You play as Garfield, but instead of napping or inhaling lasagna, you’re stuck vacuuming the house before Jon gets home. No joke—your survival depends on cleaning up messes with this ridiculous vacuum backpack. Fail, and it’s diet time for Garfield. (Harsh.)

The whole thing’s in 3D, which was kind of a big deal back then. You can knock over furniture, jump on stuff, and generally cause chaos while pretending to clean. It’s weirdly satisfying to suck up junk while Garfield grumbles about it. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, it’s oddly fun—like a weird mix of chores and mischief.

Just don’t expect deep lore or epic boss fights. It’s Garfield doing Garfield things, but with a vacuum strapped to him.
