Game Overview

So Gekitotsu Yonku Battle is this weird little NES game where you control a tiny RC car—one of those "yonku" four-wheel-drive toys—and just wreck other cars chasing you. At first, it feels chaotic because they swarm you, but you quickly learn to use the track hazards against them. Ram them into walls, or let them crash into oil slicks while you dodge. There are power-ups scattered around, like temporary invisibility (which is hilarious when it works) and health refills, but you’ll spend most of your time weaving through traffic and trying not to get cornered.

Every car you take out drops a flag somewhere on the map. Grab it for points, and the more you destroy in a row, the more valuable the flags get—eventually turning into crowns worth big points. There’s this "teki" meter that ticks down as you eliminate rivals, and when it hits zero, you move to the next stage. Sometimes you’ll get thrown into a bonus round where it’s just you scrambling to grab as many flags as possible before time runs out. It’s simple, but weirdly satisfying once you get the hang of it.
