Play Goal! 2 Online

Tiny pixel players scramble after a comically fast ball—half the time you're slide-tackling by accident, the other half you're pulling off ridiculous bicycle kicks that shouldn't work. That top-down radar view makes it feel like you're playing soccer on a spreadsheet.

Game Overview

Goal! 2 on NES is that kind of soccer game where the ball moves faster than your players, and you’ll either love or hate how chaotic it gets. Picking from 24 teams (all with that classic 8-bit charm) is fun, but good luck telling them apart once the match starts—everyone’s just a tiny pixel sprinting around.

You’ve got three camera angles, including this weird top-down radar that makes the field look like a chessboard. I mostly stuck with the side view, though—it’s the only one where you can actually see the bicycle kicks (yes, they’re in here, and yes, they look ridiculous). Slide tackles are way too satisfying, especially when you take out two opponents at once.

Super Cup mode’s the real challenge—you’ll start thinking you’re decent at this game until the AI suddenly turns into prime Maradona. The four defensive strategies help, but honestly? Just spam long passes and hope for the best. It’s messy, it’s loud, and somehow that’s exactly why it works.
