Guilty Gear Judgment came out on the PlayStation Portable in 2006, developed by Arc System Works. It was a solid attempt to bring the series' wild style to a portable beat-em-up during the PSP's early years, offering something different from the usual fighting game entries.

You control one of several Guilty Gear characters, like Sol Badguy or Ky Kiske, moving screen by screen through enemy-packed stages. Your main goal is to clear each area of adversaries using your character's unique moves and weapons, from Sol's massive sword swings to ranged magical attacks. Signature mechanics include using powerful Overdrive specials to wipe out groups and collecting gems dropped by foes to upgrade your abilities. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike sharply in later stages. It feels like a chaotic, satisfying romp that makes good use of the series' flair for spectacle.
