Play Home Alone (Beta) Online

Dodge Harry and Marv while dropping paint cans and toy cars on them—it’s messy, kinda broken, but weirdly satisfying when your traps actually work. Feels like playing a chaotic, pixelated version of that one movie scene.

Game Overview

Remember that scene in Home Alone where Kevin turns his house into a deathtrap for burglars? This Sega Genesis game lets you live that fantasy—sort of. You play as Kevin, running through your neighborhood and setting up ridiculous traps (paint cans, toy cars, the works) to stop the Wet Bandits. It’s janky, sure—the controls take some getting used to, and the hit detection is… questionable. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching Harry and Marv faceplant into your makeshift defenses.

The levels are short and chaotic, with that grainy early-90s charm. You’ll recognize bits from the movie, like the snowy streets and that creepy basement furnace. It’s not going to win any awards for depth, but if you’ve got nostalgia for Sega’s clunkier era, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect it to hold up like Sonic or Streets of Rage.

Honestly? Half the appeal is laughing at how absurd it all is. You can tell the devs just went for it—no subtlety, just pure cartoonish havoc. Grab some pizza, pretend it’s 1991, and lean into the mess.
