Game Overview

Humans, The_DiskB came out on the Amiga in 1992, developed by Imagitec Design. It was part of that wave of puzzle platformers that really made you think, where the challenge came less from reflexes and more from figuring out how to get your people from one side of the screen to the other. It didn't have the flash of some other titles, but it had a quiet, methodical charm that stuck with you.

You control a small tribe of humans, guiding them through a series of side-scrolling levels. The main goal is simply to get at least one of your humans to the exit, but getting there requires careful coordination. You build bridges by having your people lay down planks, move heavy boulders to clear paths, and even form human ladders by climbing on each other's shoulders to reach higher platforms. The pacing is slow and deliberate; you spend a lot of time positioning each character just right, and one wrong move can send your whole group tumbling into a pit or getting eaten by waiting dinosaurs. It feels like solving a physical puzzle with living pieces, where every success comes from patience and foresight.
