Jill of the Jungle: Jill Goes Underground is the second installment in the classic MS-DOS platformer trilogy developed by Epic MegaGames. Continuing Jill’s adventure, this sequel takes her from the jungle depths into Montezuma’s castle and underground caverns as she battles fire-breathing enemies, dodges deadly spikes, and rescues her prince. The side-scrolling gameplay retains its tight platforming mechanics, with Jill able to transform into different creatures to navigate challenges—while her human form relies solely on a trusty knife for defense.

Notable for its improved graphics, new levels, and a melancholic AdLib-composed soundtrack by Dan Froelich, the game stands out among early '90s DOS titles for its polished presentation. The music, created using a ROL-to-CMF converter, adds depth to the atmospheric level design and was later reused in other Epic MegaGames titles. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
