Play Jill of the Jungle: Jill Goes to Underground Online

Jill’s back, now diving into weird underground caves, stabbing fire-breathing… whatever those are, and turning into a frog when the tunnels get too tight—still feels as snappy as ever. That soundtrack, though? Haunting in the best way, especially when you’re dodging spikes for the dozenth time.

Game Overview

Jill of the Jungle: Jill Goes Underground came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Epic MegaGames. It was one of those early platformers that felt right at home on computers, with colorful VGA graphics and a level of polish that stood out among shareware titles of the time.

You control Jill, a nimble adventurer who explores screen by screen, using her sword to defeat enemies like fire-breathing creatures and hopping monsters. The goal is to navigate through underground caverns, collecting keys and avoiding environmental hazards like spikes and bottomless pits. One of the signature mechanics is Jill's ability to transform into different creatures, such as a frog, to access tight spaces. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, especially in later stages where precision jumps are essential. Playing it feels responsive and challenging, with a sense of accomplishment when you finally clear a tricky section.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
