Play Jungle Book Online
Swinging as Mowgli feels great until you mistime a vine and eat dirt—Shere Khan’s always lurking, and those pits are brutal. The sprites ooze personality, especially when Kaa’s coils nearly snag you mid-jump.

Playing Jungle Book on Game Boy feels like digging up a forgotten childhood treasure—except this one actually holds up. You start off as Mowgli swinging from vines (way harder than it looks), and within minutes you’re dodging Kaa’s hypnotic coils or getting launched by Baloo’s belly bounce. The controls are snappy, but some jumps will have you sweating—those bottomless pits don’t mess around.
What surprised me was how much personality they packed into those tiny sprites. Shere Khan’s smug grin as he stalks you, the way the music turns frantic when you’re being chased—it’s all weirdly immersive for a handheld game from 1994. And yeah, you’ll collect gems, but mostly you’re just trying not to faceplant into quicksand or get sat on by an orangutan. It’s the kind of game where you fail a level three times, then nail it and feel like a jungle prodigy.
If you’ve got a soft spot for Disney or brutally honest platformers, this one’s worth dusting off.
