Play Jungle Book on Msdos Online

You play as Mowgli flinging bananas at angry monkeys, climbing vines, and hunting for Baloo in stiff but oddly satisfying jungle platforming. The boomerang banana wrecks everything—just don’t expect great music.

Game Overview

Jungle Book on MS-DOS is basically Pitfall! but with Mowgli running around instead of some random explorer. You jump over pits, climb vines, and chuck bananas at snakes and monkeys—yeah, the enemies are weirdly aggressive for a Disney game. At first, you only get single banana shots, but then you find power-ups like double bananas or even a boomerang banana (which, honestly, feels overpowered).

The goal in each level is to grab enough gems and then track down a specific character—usually Baloo or Bagheera—hiding somewhere in the jungle. The platforming’s a little stiff, but once you get used to it, bouncing between vines and dodging enemies feels pretty satisfying. Just don’t expect the soundtrack to be anything memorable.

It’s one of those games where you either love the jank or quit after the third time a monkey knocks you into a pit.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
