Play Joust (Japan) Online
You're a knight on an ostrich, flapping around to knock other riders off their birds—until pterodactyls show up and turn everything into a frantic mess. The NES version nails that arcade chaos, just with brighter colors.

Joust for the NES came out in 1985, published by Atari. It was a home port of the arcade game, one of those early releases that tried to capture the feel of the coin-op cabinets on the new console. The graphics were simpler, the colors a bit brighter, but it kept the core idea intact.
You control a knight riding a flying ostrich, moving screen by screen across platforms suspended in lava. The goal is to defeat enemy riders by colliding with them from above, which knocks them off their mounts and turns them into eggs you must collect before they hatch. Pterodactyls occasionally swoop in, raising the stakes and forcing quick maneuvers. The game moves fast and gets difficult quickly, with enemies respawning faster as you progress. It feels like controlled chaos, a test of timing and positioning more than pure reflex.
