Game Overview

Jurassic Park on the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive if you're fancy) is one of those weird, rough-around-the-edges gems from the '90s. Right off the bat, you pick between playing as Dr. Grant—scavenging for ammo, solving puzzles, and generally trying not to get eaten—or, and this is the wild part, a freaking velociraptor. Yeah, you can just go full predator mode, shredding fences and park staff like it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet.

The pixelated jungle feels tense, with that classic Sega soundtrack humming in the background. It’s not polished, and some parts will absolutely frustrate you (looking at you, T-Rex ambushes), but there’s something weirdly compelling about how unapologetically different it is from other movie games. If you’ve got nostalgia for the era or just love bizarre gaming experiments, this one’s worth a spin.
