Game Overview

Jurassic Park on Game Boy is one of those weird little adaptations that somehow works. You play as Dr. Grant running around Isla Nublar from a top-down view, which feels oddly fitting—like you're sneaking through bushes while raptors patrol nearby. The goal's simple: rescue the kids, turn the power back on, and get the heck off the island. But of course, nothing's ever that easy when dinosaurs are involved.

You'll spend most of your time hunting for eggs (destroy or collect them, your call) to unlock keycards or items. The terminals give hints, but half the fun is just stumbling into a raptor nest and panicking. Your gun helps, but ammo types matter—some spread, some hit harder, and dead dinos only drop the basic stuff. The mystery boxes? Risky business. Could be health, could be a bomb. Classic Jurassic Park chaos.

Boss fights are the highlight, especially the T-Rex showdown. It's janky in that old Game Boy way, but there's something charming about outmaneuvering a pixelated dinosaur stampede. Not the deepest game, but it nails the "oh no, dinosaurs" vibe better than you'd expect.
