Game Overview

So, this is the Amiga version of Jurassic Park, and it’s way more intense than the movie makes it seem. You’re Dr. Grant, stuck in the park after that iconic T-Rex van scene, and now you’ve got to track down Tim and Lex while avoiding raptors, dilophosaurs, and who knows what else. The first half plays like an overhead adventure—lots of sneaking around, grabbing items, and praying a dino doesn’t spot you.

Then, out of nowhere, it switches to this clunky-but-kinda-cool first-person mode where you’re scrambling through dark buildings to restore power. The controls take some getting used to, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about hearing raptor footsteps echo down a hallway while you fumble with a keycard. Just don’t expect it to go smoothly—this island wants you dead.
