King's Quest VI on the Amiga is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that just sticks with you. You play as Prince Alexander, sailing to the Isle of the Crown to rescue Princess Cassima—except nothing goes smoothly, obviously. The puzzles are clever without being cruel (most of the time), and the art has that hand-painted charm old Sierra games did so well.

Disk 4 is where things really come together—no spoilers, but let’s just say you’ll be glad you saved often. The dialogue’s witty, the world feels alive, and there’s even multiple endings depending on how thorough you are. If you’ve got the patience for pixel-hunting and some trial-and-error, it’s still one of the best in the series.
