King's Quest VI is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that just sticks with you. You play as Prince Alexander, sailing off to the mysterious Isle of the Crown to rescue Princess Cassima—except nothing goes smoothly, of course. The Amiga version has this gorgeous pixel art that makes every screen feel like a storybook illustration.

Right away, you’re thrown into solving weird little puzzles (why is there a talking door knocker?) and navigating choices that actually matter—mess up early, and you might hit a dead end later. The voice acting’s surprisingly good for its time, and the soundtrack? Hauntingly pretty. Just watch out for the minotaur.
