King's Quest VI on the Amiga is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that just sticks with you. You play as Prince Alexander, sailing off to rescue Princess Cassima from the evil Vizier—except nothing goes as planned, and suddenly you're solving weird puzzles, talking to sentient chess pieces, and trying not to drown in a very suspicious moat. The art’s gorgeous for its time, with these lush backgrounds that make you want to explore every pixel. Just don’t expect the game to hold your hand—some of those puzzles are downright cryptic, but that’s half the charm.

Disk 5 picks up right when things get really wild, with the Isle of the Crown and its bizarre logic. I remember getting stuck for ages on the minotaur maze until I realized the solution was way simpler than I thought. The voice acting’s surprisingly good too, especially for an Amiga title. If you’re into old-school adventure games, this one’s a must.
