Knight On The Town came out for the Atari 2600 in 1982, published by US Games. It was one of those oddball titles that showed up late in the console's life, trying something a little different with the hardware. You don't see many games about a knight trying to kiss ladies while avoiding guards.

You control a knight who moves screen by screen through a castle town. Your goal is to kiss the ladies in the windows while dodging or outsmarting patrolling guards. If a guard catches you, you lose a life. The game uses simple mechanics: you move your knight from screen to screen, timing your approaches to avoid the guards. There's no combat; it's purely about evasion and quick decisions. The pacing is tense, and the difficulty ramps up as guards move faster and appear more frequently. It feels silly but strangely compelling when you successfully sneak a kiss and escape unseen.
