Krazy Bowl came out in 2005 from Arcade Innovations, a time when arcades were still hanging on but mostly filled with racers and light gun games. It was a weird, bright spot in a sea of familiar cabinets, a bowling game that didn't take itself seriously at all.

You control a bowling ball, plain and simple, using a big, heavy trackball to aim and add spin. The main goal is just to knock down pins, but it quickly stops being about normal bowling. The screen fills with obstacles, moving targets, and pin formations that look like pyramids or zigzags. One mode, Sweeper, just throws impossible setups at you, one after another, and you have to smash through them before the timer runs out. The pacing is frantic, almost punishing, but nailing a crazy shot and watching everything explode is pure, simple joy.
