Game Overview

Last Window picks up where Hotel Dusk left off—you're back as Kyle Hyde, the ex-cop turned hotel detective, but this time you're stuck in a rundown apartment building called Cape West. The place has this weird, almost haunted vibe, and every resident seems to be hiding something. You poke around, picking up objects, talking to people, and piecing together clues in that sketchbook of yours.

The puzzles are just the right kind of frustrating—not so hard you’ll rage quit, but tricky enough to make you feel clever when you figure them out. And the way the DS is used for interrogations (holding it sideways like a book, flipping pages) still feels surprisingly fresh. If you liked the slow-burn mystery of Hotel Dusk, this one’s even moodier and more personal.

Fair warning: the pacing is deliberate, so don’t expect action. But if you’re into noir atmosphere and peeling back layers of secrets, Cape West is worth every minute.
