Game Overview

LEGO Indiana Jones 2 on PSP is a stripped-down but still fun take on the console version, with all the charm of smashing LEGO stuff and solving little puzzles. It mostly follows Crystal Skull’s story—three acts, comic-style cutscenes—but throws in mini-games from the older movies as unlockables. You’ll switch between Indy (whip skills!), Marion (balance on narrow stuff), and Mutt (knife tricks and wall climbing) to get through levels, which feels satisfying when you figure out who does what.

The stud collecting is there, of course—gotta grab those shiny things for unlocks—but the real surprise was the mini-games. Rolling away from that boulder from Raiders? Way more intense than I expected on a handheld. Some feel a bit repetitive (how many times can I dodge stuff in a mine cart?), but they’re a nice break from the main story. Just don’t expect the same depth as the console version.

It’s classic LEGO game chaos, just with simpler graphics and a tighter focus. If you’ve got a PSP and love Indiana Jones, it’s a solid time-waster between tomb raids.
