Game Overview

Lone Eagle: Colombian Encounter was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games release, though it never received a numbered entry in that collection. Developed by Parsoft and published by Merit Software, it arrived during a period when flight simulators and arcade shooters were common on the platform, offering straightforward action without much narrative pretense.

You pilot an F-15 fighter jet through hostile airspace, tasked with neutralizing enemy aircraft and ground targets across multiple missions. The game uses a first-person cockpit view with a heads-up display, requiring you to manage radar locks, fire missiles, and maneuver to avoid incoming threats. Enemy fighters attack in waves, and ground installations like SAM sites add constant pressure from below. The pacing is relentless, with little room for error, and the difficulty escalates quickly as you progress. It feels like a tense, high-stakes engagement where every decision matters.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
