Mega Man Project X feels like someone took the best parts of classic Mega Man and cranked them up with Flash-era energy. You jump in, and bam, immediately you're sliding under spikes, dodging enemy shots, and figuring out which weapon actually works against that one annoying boss (spoiler: probably not the one you think).
The levels have that perfect mix of tight platforming and chaotic charm, like someone remixed the Robot Master stages with a dash of early internet weirdness. Some screens throw so much at you that you'll swear it's unfair... until you nail the timing and feel like a genius. And yeah, the bosses will wreck you a few times, but in that good way where you know you can beat them if you just tweak your approach.
It's short, sweet, and exactly what you'd want from a fan-made Flash tribute, no fluff, just pure run-and-gun nostalgia with a few surprises. If you've ever yelled at a Mega Man game before, this one's worth the frustration.
